猫又（婆）は、百鬼夜行絵巻に描かれる、巻物を読みながら歩く姿が印象的な妖怪です。 大きく開いた口と目の表情を再現し、どこか愛嬌のある雰囲気を持つ一体に仕上げています。 手に持つ巻物は和紙で作られており、古い絵巻の世界からそのまま抜け出してきたような趣があります。 まつげには馬の毛を使用しており、細部までこだわった作者お気に入りの作品です。
