Description
Gaukotsu is the skeletal figure depicted in the Hyakki Yagyō scroll—slightly scrawny, wearing only a simple fundoshi, and holding a purification wand (gohei). Despite its eerie nature as a skeleton, this version is intentionally small and charming, giving it a playful presence rather than a frightening one.
