Description
Zōri Obake is a yokai born from zōri, the traditional Japanese straw sandals that were once a daily essential. It’s a type of tsukumogami—an object that gains a spirit after long use. Also called Bakezōri, it’s said to appear when sandals are treated carelessly or discarded without respect.
