Description
Tengu is a mountain‑dwelling yokai, revered both as a supernatural being and as a guardian deity of the mountains. While many depictions show a long‑nosed humanoid figure, the version illustrated by Toriyama Sekien in Gazu Hyakki Yagyō portrays a more bird‑like creature with a striking and mysterious presence. This piece aims to recreate that original design as faithfully as possible, capturing the sharp expression, avian features, and imposing silhouette of Sekien’s classic tengu.
