Description
Utagawa Kuniyoshi, known as one of the greatest cat lovers in the ukiyo-e world, created many charming cat illustrations. Among them, the dancing nekomata with a headband is especially adorable. This piece recreates the calico version, one of the most frequently depicted patterns in Kuniyoshi’s works.
