Ichiren Shonin is the spirit of a Buddhist prayer bead strand, while Kobun‑sensei is the spirit of a traditional writing desk. Both characters appear as central figures in the scroll, each with a distinctive and charming presence. This set recreates their contrasting forms—one tall and bead‑like, the other small and scholarly—capturing the playful personality of tsukumogami folklore.
