Description
A kiriko‑toro is a lantern constructed with a frame shaped like a kiriko— a cube with its corners cut off—decorated with paper or silk cloth. This yokai is the tsukumogami of such a lantern, and one legend says it serves as an attendant who carries offerings to ancestral spirits returning during Obon. Since very few reference images exist, I created this piece using imagination and intuition. The main structure is crafted from woodwork.

切子灯籠とは、枠を切子（立方体のそれぞれの角を切り落とした形）に組み、 紙や絹布を飾り垂らした灯籠のことです。 この妖怪はその灯籠の付喪神ですが、一説ではお盆に返ってきた先祖の精霊たちに ごちそうを運ぶ給仕係だそうです。 あまり参考画像は多くなかったのですが、想像を駆使して作ってみました。 基本木工細工になります。

・灯籠の下から延びる手足は刺繍糸とラテックスシートで、ワイヤー入り

・眉のような部分は黒のナイロンコード
・灯籠の花飾りはポリモーフ
