The Nine‑tailed Fox originates from ancient Chinese legends and is known as a mystical fox spirit with nine tails. In Japan, it appears in folklore as an evil or deceptive yokai, including the famous tale of Tamamo‑no‑Mae, a beautiful court lady in the Heian period whose true identity was revealed to be a fox. This piece is an original creation inspired by various images and arranged into a unique interpretation of the alluring fox spirit.

中国に伝わる伝説の生き物がルーツといわれており、 九本の尾をもつ狐の霊獣・妖怪です。 日本でも邪悪な妖怪として物語に登場し、 平安時代に鳥羽上皇のお気に入りの侍女・玉藻前という美女の正体が狐であったと語られています。 そんな妖艶な九尾の狐をいろんな画像とアレンジしてオリジナルで作ってみました。
